After flying one circle around Danville
airport (8N8), I entered a left downwind
leg to the traffic pattern for runway 09
(90 degree heading).
The approach over the Susquehanna river
was quite spectacular, as was the housing
development placed just a few feet from
the west end of the runway. After
touching down and exiting the runway, we
made the loooong taxi to the parking ramp
(not shown in video).
This airport's asphalt runway was recently
added. For many years prior, all this
airport had was a grass runway, albeit a
very wide one.
